Senator Komitta supports action Chester County donations for Ukraine – Daily Local

WESTERN CHESTER – Residents of Chester County, interested in supporting the people of Ukraine and the victims and refugees there, can now donate to the office of Senator Carolyn Committee, D-19th of West Chester.

The Comitta is collaborating with Chester County Hospital to collect donations of medical supplies, hygiene items and essentials for children and infants through the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc. (UUARC).

“An estimated 2.8 million Ukrainians left their country after the Russian invasion. Many others, including children, families and the elderly, have suffered and have suffered as a result of the escalation of violence, “the Committee said.” Support and sympathy for the people of Ukraine and its independence is a testament to our shared values Chester residents, thank you to everyone who donated. “

Now until March 24, items can be donated through a collection box at the Comitta District Office in West Chester, located at East Gay St., 17 in downtown West Chester. The building is open Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

All donations support humanitarian aid to the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Popular baby products include baby fever and painkillers: Tylenol, Benadryl, Ibuprofen (at least a year before the expiration date), thermometers, pacifiers, baby bottles, diaper cream, baby wipes and hand and foot warmers.

For the elderly: canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, diapers for adults, painkillers: Tylenol, ibuprofen (at least a year before the expiration date), water purifiers and tablets or tubes or tubes for water purification.

No items of clothing are collected at this time. Residents can also go to one of the Senator Committee’s mobile / senior information offices to hand over their donations.

With millions of potential victims in Ukraine, UURAC is collecting donations to provide vital medical supplies to the injured, wounded and refugees. According to its website, the organization works closely with other groups and the Ukrainian embassy to coordinate aid.
