Tech 2022 Summit Guide

The first Summit fast approaching, and a few days before the start it seemed like a good idea to gather some information to make sure you have the best experience of the event.

Date: Tuesday, May 17, 2022

Time: The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. European time and we offer arrival no later than 8 a.m. CEST to make sure you can enjoy socializing and coffee before the busy program begins with a stellar opening ceremony and killer sessions rather than standing in line on the street.

We expect to end the day of the event around 17:40 CEST.

Location: Brussels Expo (Official address: Place de Belgique 1 – 1020 Brussels, but see instructions below)

Ticket holders online: The event will be broadcast live here.

Social networks: We use the hashtag #TechEUSummit to communicate on the event, so it would be great if you could use it on your social media channels as well!

Brussels Expo has the most accurate and up-to-date information how to get to the venue (Entrance to the summit will be in Hall 10).

There’s enough parking around the venue, but we suggest using public transport (particularly subway, tram or bus) if possible; both in the morning and in the evening traffic around Brussels can be tough.

Tip of professionals: in the exhibition area there will be a stand Visit Brussels, and you will be given free public transport tickets to return home or use the days after the event!

The entrance to Summit 2022 will be in Hall 10, located on the right, if you look at the iconic Palais 5 (in other words, with the even more iconic Atomium behind you).

Bonus: our friends on Pony give all participants a number of free trips on electronic scooters; they will be parked right in front of the Brussel Expo. You can use the “EUTECHSUMMIT” code in the Pony program to provide two free 60-minute trips.

First of all, make sure you secured his ticket and received a letter of confirmation.

On Tuesday morning, head to the Brussel Expo and find the entrance near Gate C.

There will be signs outside and inside the site to make sure you find your way, and we have staff who take care of your check-in and keep your belongings in a safe closet. A team of volunteers will be stationed around the halls throughout the day to provide you with a great experience, even if you are new to the Brussels Expo.

Please bring your ticket to the event as well as your photo ID issued by the government. Again, offer to come no later than 8:15 CEST to make sure you can enjoy the event.

Can’t find your ticket? No need to worry if you give us your name along with your photo ID, we will get your registration on the spot.

Offline events are a natural place to socialize, and we have a nice little tool to make everything as easy as possible!

Check out our stars agenda (note that there are two stages: “Inspiration” and “Grow”) and composition of speakers. With more than 90 international speakers, look forward to a day full of inspiration.

In Hall 10, networks and quiet areas will be organized, where our many sponsors and partners will be exhibited, as well as many delicious food stalls and corners for coffee and water so that you stay full and full of water.

Oh, and there will be treats from Visit Brussels and Qallo. 😉

There are currently no coronavirus-related measures that would interfere with the “normal” summit, but we advise you to check official state information site.

Note that in public transport from the age of 12 you are still required to wear a face mask, and of course there may be certain requirements depending on where you are coming from. Check it out official government website for more information.

If you have any problems or questions, please contact us.

This year we focused on holding a great summit, so no formal side events or post-party parties are planned for participants. However, the weather forecast for next week looks very promising, so take the opportunity to discover the amazing culinary scene and nightlife of Brussels, if you can.

We can humbly offer to check out the area around Place Saint-Germain and Place Saint-Catherine to ensure a good time.

This event would not even have been possible without help and support our many sponsors, ecosystems and media partners.

Thank you very much already Google Cloud, Nasdaq, European Innovation Councilour gold and platinum partners.

Lots of love too Melted businesses, Scale, Target Global, Sharify, Pony, Isomeric capital, Calendar and WOW for support.
