The driver was found in the village of Palmer with a fatal motorcycle near the mall – The Morning Call

Palmer township police are investigating a fatal crash Thursday night in which a motorcycle crashed into the back of another car on Highway 248.

31-year-old Van Yuri Cummings Jr. from Palmer Towns was riding a motorcycle at high speed, the Northampton County Coroner’s Office said, and was spotted straying between vehicles as he drove behind in a stopped car.

Cummings was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital on Anderson’s campus, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the crash happened Thursday night near the 25th Street mall. Route 248 was closed between Sales Street and Launhurst Avenue while police conducted an investigation.

There was no other information.
