Poco, a Chinese phone maker, is rumored to launch the M5 smartphone soon. According to the report, the phone could debut in early September 2022. Ahead of the launch, prices and specifications of the device have been published online. The base model of the Poco M5 is likely to retail below Rs 15,000. The smartphone is likely to sport a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display. It can be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with at least 6GB of RAM. The device may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and may run on Android 12 OS.

The phone will retain the gorgeous leather-like back design. It is said to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5. The Poco M5 was earlier spotted on several websites, including US FCC, BIS India, IMDA Singapore, and IMEI, suggesting that it might make its debut soon.
