The Powerball jackpot grew to $825 million in Saturday’s drawing

Powerball officials have increased the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing to $825 million. The game’s second-largest grand prize in its history was collected due to strong ticket sales, officials said at the statement.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 19, 31, 40, 46, 57 and Powerball 23. It’s still unclear if the winning tickets were sold.

If someone does win Saturday’s big prize, they can choose whether to have their millions spread over 29 years or receive a one-time cash payout, estimated to be more than $410 million.

“I’m going to split half with my brother,” Banda told CBS Bay Area, “and I’m going to help my family — help my mom, help my dad, help the business — and then save the rest.”
