The special furniture brand, known for its modular couches “Sactional” and “Sacs”, filled with fools, opens the first salon Lehigh Valley – The Morning Call
The technology-focused company, which develops, manufactures and sells unique, high-quality furniture, “built for life”, has opened its first place in Lehigh Valley.
Lovesac, based in Stamford, Connecticut, on May 6 opened a showroom at 1936 MacArthur Road, Suite 2, in Whitehall. The building, built in 2019 opposite the Whitehall Mall, also houses the Sleep Number showroom.
Lovesac, whose name comes from Durafoam’s original furniture brand called Sacs, is a direct consumer of a special furniture brand with 116 retail outlets that support the e-commerce delivery model, according to the company’s description.
Durafoam crushed foam is a proprietary mixture of polyurethane foam with open cells of high, medium and low density from Lovesac.
Founder and CEO Sean Nelson’s philosophy of “Recognized for Life” emphasizes sustainable products that are designed to last a lifetime and are designed to evolve to meet customer needs, providing long-term usefulness and ultimately reducing the amount of furniture thrown away to landfills.
A daily update for the Lehigh Valley business person.
The company, founded in 1998, gets most of its current sales from its own platform called Sactionals, a washable, changing and reconfigurable solution for large upholstered seats. Modular Sactionals have seats and sides that can be rearranged to suit changing customer needs.
In addition, the company offers premium StealthTech technology built into Sactionals. Harman Kardon’s invisible sound technology allows sound to pass through the fabric with the highest quality and clarity. Customers experience exciting Dolby Digital surround sound optimized to suit their Sactionals configuration.
Sac liners, available in six sizes and from $ 200, along with solid Sactionals details are guaranteed for life. Customers can choose from more than 200 covers, most of which are machine washable.
“Innovation is at the heart of our design philosophy, and all of our core products are protected by a robust portfolio of useful patents,” Lovesac said in a description. “We sell and sell our products mostly online directly at www.lovesac.comsupported by sensory points for the consumer in the form of our own salons, as well as through in-store stores and pop-up stores with third-party retailers ”.
Based on the average level of couch purchases and their expected lifespan, Lovesac believes that for every Sactionals installation a customer accepts in their lifetime, they save four sofas from the landfill.
“Creating a Designed For Life product is a tricky thing, and we understand that it will take some time to truly conform to it,” the company’s website said in a statement. “We work every day to ensure that we take significant steps towards achieving this design philosophy. From the raw materials we use to our packaging and delivery practices, we are committed to responsible resource consumption and working with partners who share our vision. ”
Lovesac, which also offers accessories such as blankets, pillows and drink stands Sactionals, coasters and tables, is open in Whitehall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The company also operates nearby locations in Plymouth Rally and King Prussia, Montgomery; and Bridgewater, New Jersey
