
Carolina Glus filled the net with nine goals to push the Trojans to victory over the Colonials in the Playoffs 3 Class 2A playoffs on Monday.
The fifth seeded Hershey (13-4) struck 40 shots on goal, retiring 13 times in the first half.
New Oxford (9-7), seeded No. 12, saw Eli Mathis score four goals in defeat. Madison Kohi and Hailey Linbo scored two goals each, and Sydney Winpigler added one marker. Bethany Kochi gave the assist for four points, and Winpigler added a pair of assistants.

When the Bulldogs defeated the Caners on Monday, the Bulldogs won Caleb Stewart’s single with two outs at the bottom of the fifth.
Biglerville (7-12) came into the game for one spot outside of the 3rd Class 3A District playoffs. The Caners lost to Anvil-Cleon (9-10), whose regular season was over, in the power rankings.
Prior to Monday’s victory Big Spring (7-12) was the only spot outside the 4A line.
Nolan Miller singled out a home run in the second for the Canaries and made a second run with a sacrificial flight in the fourth. Austin Black doubled and later scored due to an error to start the draw in that inning.
The Caners put a potential draw in seventh place when Gavin Taylor made a double with two outs, but bulldog throw Seth Griffi recorded his seventh knockout to finish the game.

Anthony Lippi and JC Collins teamed up in a productive match with two strikes as part of the Panther sweep on Saturday.
Lippi broke seven in four innings of work before giving way to Collins, who singled out a pair and allowed just one hit.
Collins was one of five pirates to be hit twice, joining Brock Carpenter, Dylan Ed, Chase King and Zach Koons. Ed counted three RBIs, and Chris Shahle knocked on the pair. Carpenter, Koons and Austin Kunkel won two shots each.
