Three vacancies in the most popular social networks of 2022

It’s hard to believe that until relatively recently social networks just weren’t a thing. Now it affects everything from how we shop, to how we work and how we communicate with friends and family. It has entered into every aspect of our lives.

As a result, social platforms are one of the most popular tools in every company’s marketing and communication arsenal. But as we all know, this is an industry that is constantly evolving and changing. So with that in mind, we highlight some roles on the most popular platforms of 2022 – and there are much more on our job board.

Facebook

Did you know that 36.9% of the world’s population are Facebook users? That’s a pretty staggering figure, and while it’s no longer the new guy on the block, Facebook’s huge audience means it just can’t be ignored. The platform primarily appeals to Millennials, with the largest demographic group being users between the ages of 25 and 35.

It should be noted that Facebook in its current form will not exist forever, as founder Mark Zuckerberg orients the company in its new meta-incarnation.

But now you can check out the selection of open roles in Meta. And with offices across Europe, including Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Ireland, you’ll also be spoiled for choice by location.

TikTok

Experiencing tremendous growth, TikTok is a newcomer to the package. The platform gained explosive growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and has 57% female base. In addition, 32% of TikTok users are between 25 and 34 years old. This young demographic group with women is powerful – the campaign only started in 2017, and just two years later TikTok entered the top five most downloaded apps in the world.

And it’s only growing – many job hunters see a role on the platform as a great way to build a meaningful career. 79% of employees say it’s a great place to work, and employees are given a lot of responsibility for shaping their roles and projects. In Europe, the company is present in cities such as Paris, Berlin, Dublin and London.

It now has about 431 million active users per month, and in February 2021 Pinterest reported 459 million monthly active users, which is 37% the largest increase over the last year it has ever seen.

As a visual search engine, it offers brands the ability to target customers while they are still at the very beginning of the sales funnel. In addition, it provides users with a seamless shopping experience thanks to built-in links. Pinterest ranks high in Europe with offices in Ireland, the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and France.

Bonus platforms

Of course, there are many other social sites that offer growth and, as a result, employment opportunities. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is one. With an impressive two billion active users each month, CEO Will Catcart said about 175 million people send messages to business accounts on WhatsApp every day.

A veteran of social media, YouTube was founded in 2005 as a video dating site. Things did not go as planned, and its three founders, Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Javed Karim, sold Google for $ 1.65 billion in 2006. It is now the second largest search engine on the Internet.
