Time McCormick of Astros met Tim Maze of the Blue Jays in the battle for the University of Millersville alumni in MLB [video] | Sports

When the Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros played each other on Sunday, something happened for the first time in MLB history. Two graduates of the University of Millersville collided with each other on a diamond.

Astros central field defender Time McCormick brought out at the bottom of the sixth inning. Represented by Blue Jace left-hander Tim Maize.

McCormick played for the Marauders from 2014 to 2017, while Maize was on the mound at MU 2011-2013.

Taking the ball on the first field, McCormick hit the center. Second baseman Jace Santiago Espinal sent the ball in one jump, making a stop in the jump at the edge of the field grass behind second base. Espinal threw out McCormick, who was 2 on 5 in the game including doubles and RBI.

Maisa, being eighth in the season, dropped the hit but didn’t run for one inning of work.

The Astras won the game with a score of 8-7 (box through baseball-reference.com).

Here is a video of McCormick vs. Maisa.
