What summer music festivals are you going to attend? Beyoncé was already headlining Coachella in April, but the summer of the 18th still has a lot to look forward to. Five of America’s best and largest annual summer music festivals gather between Remembrance Day and Labor Day in five different states across the country.

Get to this music festival by ferry. The eighth edition of this event in New York for the first time since 2010 will be Eminem’s headliners in this city. Favorite festival since 1991, the past years have attracted Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, Pearl Jam and more famous performers on the stages of Lollapalooza against the background of the famous city skyline. It’s 11 years for Outside Lands, where fantastic music is combined with “lands” for delicious “Gastro Magic” food, wine, beer, cheese, chocolate, as well as a comedy scene and art events throughout the park. Concert attendees and San Francisco people know that summer in this city means cold fog, so it’s one summer outdoor music festival where sticky heat and humidity aren’t an issue. As usual, the star lineup is expected (the announcement will take place in early April); past headliners included Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Tom Patty and Willie Nelson. The music begins at noon every three days and continues on eight stages until about 10 p.m. Tickets sell out quickly. Look for one-day tickets, 3-day tickets and VIP passes that include halls, restrooms, special two-stage viewing areas and more. Please note that there is no campsite in Golden Gate Park, so parking and shuttle passes are also on sale.
