On Thursday, Eli Weigl posted six innings to stop the game in his serve for the full game to raise the “Canaries” to victory.

Weigl flooded seven batters, going only two, scattering six singles on seven frames.

On the plate Austin Black scored three shots, including a double and scored twice. Ben Angstadt and Abi Sosa scored two shots each, and Sosa scored three RBIs. Angstadt and Gage Bishop played in two races for the Caners (3-10).

Seven different knights received at least two strokes each, including Valentine, who was 3-on-4 with two doubles, triples and three RBIs. Eric Ball and Andrew Koons also received three blows, while teammates Jaden Bell, Cameron Makinyak, Josh Hazlet and Ethan O’Dell beat two each.
