Will Poulter wants to make another musical | Entertainment news

Will Poulter “jumped at the opportunity” to make another musical.

The 29-year-old actor had a great time working on heist film The Score and its soundtrack with co-stars Naomi Aki and Johnny Flynn, and would love to sing in front of the camera again in the future.

He said: “’The Score’ is the closest thing to a mixtape because I’m involved in a few tracks.

“Recording these songs with Naomi and Johnny was one of the most fun times of my life.

“It was a great introduction to the world of musicals, I would jump at the chance [to do more].”

And while Will is usually reluctant to dance, he felt “completely at ease” showing off his moves with Naomi in the film.

He told Total Film magazine: “I try to avoid dancing at all costs.

“I had to drink a few tequilas to even try to dance.

“If I can hide behind a hero, I will dance.

“I felt completely at ease dancing with Naomi in ‘The Score.’

The musical also forced the British star to face one of her stage frights.

He said: “I’m not the most confident driver. It took me several shots of “The Score” just doing one high-speed reverse.”

Will applauded the film’s director, Malachy Smith, for how he coordinated the fight scenes to the film’s music.

He explained: “’The Score’ has a sequence that is one of the funnest fights I’ve ever had.

“The way our director, Malachy, ties it all to the music is kind of genius.

“It was a real laugh, even during the rehearsal I started giggling.

“I’ve always enjoyed learning these skills, but I think Mike Tyson said, ‘Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.’ “
