The winning numbers for the second-largest Powerball jackpot of $825 million were announced Saturday night.

The lottery’s massive jackpot hit its peak on Friday Powerball before Saturday night’s drawing, the prize had increased to $825 million. The jackpot is the second largest in Powerball history and the fifth largest in US history.
The $825 million prize is for winners who choose to receive their wealth through an annuity paid annually over 29 years. Almost all the winners go for the cash, which is now valued at $410.2 million.
Since August 3, no one has picked all six numbers. That’s 36 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner. The unbeaten streak is due to the extreme odds of winning: one in 292.2 million.
Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. It costs $2 to play.
