San Francisco: Technology giant Google has announced that its YouTube Music streaming program for Wear OS can now allow users to stream content over Wi-Fi and LTE. The company said that starting this week, users will be able to stream music via LTE or WiFi so they can listen to their favorite playlists wherever they are, even if their phone isn’t around. YouTube Music users can now share songs from Snapchat on Android.
Second, users can now add a new YouTube Music tile to their watch, allowing them to quickly access a recently played playlist or YouTube Music viewer page.
“As a YouTube Music Premium subscriber, you will have access to more than 80 million songs and thousands of playlists in your YouTube Music program,” the company said in a statement.
It is said that this separate app is the first smart watch app from YouTube Music that allows YouTube Music Premium subscribers to download and stream music for listening without ads, even when their phones aren’t nearby.
The app also comes with a Smart Downloads feature that updates songs that users have downloaded to the watch when they connect to Wi-Fi. The app even offers personalized playlists based on your listening history so users can choose the perfect soundtrack for what they do.
