James Harrison pushes a 2,000-pound sled for an insane workout originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

It’s been nearly five years since James Harrison played in the NFL.

But he is of course hasn’t lost the strength that helped him become one of the most feared linebackers in the game.

A 44-year-old man posted crazy workout video on his TikTok account Thursday. Harrison stacked 42 45-pound plates on the sled, which equates to a total of about 1,960 pounds. The 2008 Defensive Player of the Year then pushed the nearly 2,000-pound sled about five yards.

Just another Thursday for James Harrison, I guess.

Based on the TikTok captions, it seems Harrison is aiming to top 2,000 pounds by his 45th birthday in May.

“Thinking of buying 45 plates on May 4, 2023,” the caption read. “What do you think? #45thbirthdaygift”
