Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are trying to keep their split “drama-free” for the sake of their children.

The sports star, 45, and Gisele, 42, have children together, Vivian, 9, and Benjamin, 12, and have already agreed a ‘co-parenting plan’ following their split.

A source told E! News: “The details of the settlement were clarified, and when everything was agreed, there was no reason to wait.

“They are both ready to move on and move forward. They agreed on joint custody and division of their assets. They plan to become single parents and not have children take naps.”

The famous duo “knew it was coming” and they both want to “move on” with their lives.

The insider explained: “It’s a sad day, but it’s also a relief when the settlement is complete. They knew it was coming, and it’s time to move on.”

Tom and Gisele previously confirmed their split through statements posted on social media.

Tom, who also has 15-year-old John with Bridget Moynahan, wrote on Instagram: “My wife and I finalized our divorce from each other in the last few days after 13 years of marriage. We came to this decision amicably and gratefully for the time. we spent together. We have wonderful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always give them the love and attention they deserve.”

Giselle, on the other hand, admitted that they “grew apart.”

However, she also wished “the best for Tom always”.

The catwalk star said: “The decision to end a marriage is never an easy one, but we’ve gone our separate ways, and while it’s certainly difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we’ve had together and I wish Tom the best always.”
